Engine and location data are collected and stored on the GO device. Once the vehicle returns to coverage, this data is sent to MyGeotab, then back to the Drive App. If you are out of cellular coverage often, you may want to connect the driver's tablet or smartphone directly to the GO device using IOX-USB to update without the need for a cellular connection. The cable connects to the devices charging cable and also provides power to charge the tablet or phone.
