Light Duty OBD2 Vehicles

Most light duty vehicles have what is called an ALDL connector and the typical location is on the driver's side. The ALDL connector has 16 pins and looks like:

Below you can find a list of what each pin is used for.
Note: not all pins are populated

Special Cases:

Workhorse Custom Chassis: Should pins 7 and 15 of the ALDL connector be occupied in these vehicles then the HRN-JEZHD harness will be required

GM Vehicles: SHould pin 1 of the ALDL connector be occupied in these vehicles then the HRN-GMLS harness will be required
